Introduction

Hsien-Yu joined King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) Photonics Laboratory as a master student on Aug. 2013. His research focus is on GaN/InGaN nanowire grown by Molecular beam epitaxy and its application. The emission wavelength of the nanowire grown by KAUST Photonics Lab is in the visible wavelength. He will be mainly working on the GaN/InGaN nanowire grown on patterned Si substrate.

His extracurricular activity interest has a wide variety including badminton, basketball, and cycling. He also serves as a life guard under the certification of The Red Cross Society of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

Research Interests
