Zahed wins the Best Paper Award at the 2nd SIECPC

Photonics lab member Mohammed Zahed Mustafa Khan won the Best Paper Award (Photonics Track) at the 2nd Saudi International Electronics, Communications and Photonics Conference (SIECPC), held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, during April 27-30, 2013. The winning paper reports a novel model to understand the physics behind and demonstrate some unique features of semiconductor broadband quantum-dash lasers.
